Snow day: Free winter activities in Salt Lake City (video)

The Downtown Traveler editorial team (that’s me and Jake) narrowly escaped the East Coast snow storm. We left JKF airport the day after Christmas, just a few hours before it was closed for the blizzard. We’re reporting from Salt Lake City, Utah— where several feet of snow is no cause for panic.

We may have missed “Snowmageddon 2010” in Manhattan but we’ve had our share of snow time. In the past week we’ve gone sledding, cross-country skiing and trekking through Salt Lake City’s public parks.
