Good luck Jake. I am actually training for the Chicago marathon in October. I am sure this guide is and will be invaluable to present an future New York City runners whether training for the marathon or just staying fit.

Good luck with the training. My favorite places to run are around my neighborhood and on the beach. When I visited NYC I did see a lot of people jogging dont know if they were just exercising or training though.

We have a lot of joggers in NYC– for pleasure and training 🙂

At first I thought you were taking part in the marathon les! 🙂 I would LOVE to run these routes. You guys are lucky.. so many parks. In Malaysia, the best 21KM route goes through Martrade. One day I will take u and Jake too! 🙂

Great post! I usually have difficulty to find places to run when I am out of town. If I go to NY, I will remember your tips! Thanks a lot!
